Water-Glow Injection
물광주사 · also: 물광주사, Skin booster, Juvederm Volite
Micro-droplets of hyaluronic acid injected across the face for deep, lasting hydration and the dewy, reflective 'water-glow' look — the classic pre-event or pre-flight glow shot.
This breaks the skin or carries vascular/systemic risk, so a medical intake is required before treatment.
How it works
Fine HA droplets are placed just under the surface, drawing and holding water to plump fine lines and add luminosity from within. Often layered with skin botox for pores.
Intradermal injection · acts at 0.5–1.5 mm · deepest layer: Dermis
Where collagen and elastin live. Almost every 'skin quality' treatment is aimed here.
Depths are indicative and vary by device, cartridge, body area and individual.
Intradermal injection
Many small, shallow deposits spread across the treatment area — placed within the skin rather than under it, so nothing changes shape.

FAQ
How long does the glow last?
Around 2–4 weeks from a single session, extending with a course of 3. It's a maintenance treatment, which is why Korean clinics sell it as a pre-event or pre-flight add-on.
Water-glow or Skinvive?
Mechanically similar — HA delivered shallowly for hydration. Skinvive is a specific Allergan product with a regulatory approval for cheek smoothness and costs several times more. If brand certainty matters, pay for it; if not, Korean HA boosters do a comparable job.
Will I be bumpy afterwards?
Small raised points for a few hours to a day, and occasional pinpoint bruises. Mild compared with Rejuran, but not invisible.
Can I do it the day before flying?
Yes, and many people do. Just not the same evening as an event.

- Injectables are sold per cc. One cc is a small syringe; most full-face plans need 2–8 cc, so multiply before comparing.
Per cc, and larger volumes are better value — one Seoul list ran ₩120k for 2.5 cc of a standard HA injection and ₩195k for 5 cc of a high-concentration version. Delivery method is sometimes billed separately: a multi-needle injector or an ultrasound infusion step can add ₩30k.
