Aqua Peel / Hydrafacial
아쿠아필 · also: Hydrafacial, 아쿠아필링
A gentle water-based exfoliation that vacuums out blackheads and dead skin while infusing serums — the classic 'add-on before a flight home' glow facial.
A surface treatment with a quick check-in — rarely needs a doctor's exam.
How it works
A spiral tip loosens and suctions debris from pores while delivering hydrating and brightening solutions. No downtime, instant smoothness — often bundled with laser or booster visits.
Chemical peel · acts at 0–0.1 mm · deepest layer: Epidermis
The surface barrier. Peels and resurfacing lasers work here — this is what visibly flakes.
Depths are indicative and vary by device, cartridge, body area and individual.
Chemical peel
Acid loosens the bonds between surface skin cells so they shed, revealing smoother skin underneath.

FAQ
Is extraction included?
Often not. Korean menus regularly list a facial and then charge extraction separately per spot — around ₩5k each, or a flat rate for a full face. Ask before you're on the bed if congestion is your main concern.
How is this different from a HydraFacial at home?
The mechanism is the same — vacuum-assisted cleansing with acid solutions — but Korean clinics typically run more steps and charge a fraction of Western prices. It's the single best-value item on most menus.
Can I do it on my last day?
Yes. Mild redness for an hour or two and nothing else. It's the classic same-day, fly-home-tomorrow treatment.
How often?
Monthly is typical for maintenance. It's a cleaning and hydration treatment, so the effect fades with your skin's normal cycle.

Market ranges for reference — actual quotes depend on the clinic, doctor and area.
Before you compare quotes: what this price is actually per
- A flat per-visit price. The thing to check is how many visits the full course needs.
Flat per session, and the cheapest real treatment on most Korean menus — ₩35k including a hydrating mask in one Seoul list. The premium end is where extra steps stack up: a full multi-step version with an ultrasound stage ran ₩250k on the same menu, and a booster upgrade added ₩50k.
- Extraction, frequently excluded and charged per spot
- Ultrasound or LED steps
- Upgraded mask or booster infusion
Won prices quoted above are from a dated reference price list for one Seoul clinic chain (2026-07-24), used to show the shape of pricing — not a national average, and not a quote. Prices include 10% VAT: the foreign-patient cosmetic VAT refund ended on 31 December 2025.
