Tune Face / Tune Liner
튠페이스 / 튠라이너 · also: 튠페이스, 튠라이너
A Korean platform sold as a pair. Tune Face delivers RF into the deeper dermis for collagen remodelling and is billed by energy; Tune Liner uses focused ultrasound aimed at small fat pockets like the double chin and is billed per area. They're often quoted together, which makes the total hard to read.
A short questionnaire and dose mapping — usually done the same day, right before treatment.
How it works
Tune Face drives radiofrequency energy deep enough to remodel damaged collagen and prompt new growth, with a dual cooling system holding the surface at a tolerable temperature through a roughly 30-minute session. Tune Liner instead focuses ultrasound at the fat layer to reduce a defined pocket, typically in a short 8–10 minute pass on one area.
Monopolar radiofrequency · acts at 1.5–4.5 mm · deepest layer: Fat layer
Subcutaneous fat. Volume, contour, and the target of fat-reducing treatments.
Depths are indicative and vary by device, cartridge, body area and individual.
Monopolar radiofrequency
Radio waves warm a broad volume of the dermis at once while the surface is actively cooled, so collagen contracts and regrows.

FAQ
Do I need both?
Only if you have both problems. If your jawline is slack but lean, the RF side alone is the right treatment. If there's a soft pocket under the chin, the ultrasound handpiece is what addresses it. Paying for both by default is a common way to overspend.
How does the manufacturer's claim stack up?
The mechanisms — RF collagen remodelling and focused ultrasound on fat — are both well established. Device-specific claims about speed and comfort come from the manufacturer rather than independent trials, so treat those as marketing until published data appears.
Is it painful?
Generally moderate and manageable. Cooling keeps the surface comfortable; the ultrasound handpiece can feel sharper over bone.
Price range by care tier
Market ranges for reference — actual quotes depend on the clinic, doctor and area.
Before you compare quotes: what this price is actually per
- RF and microwave devices are sold by total energy in kilojoules. More kJ means more coverage and a stronger result — a 10 kJ and a 60 kJ quote are not the same treatment.
- Priced per treated area, and clinics define 'area' differently. Ask exactly which zones your quote covers.
The two handpieces use different units, which is the trap. Tune Face is sold by kJ (a 60 kJ full-face dose ran ₩900k in one Seoul list) while Tune Liner is sold per area (₩160k for one). A combined quote mixes the two, so ask for them itemised — and check exactly which zones count as an 'area'.
Won prices quoted above are from a dated reference price list for one Seoul clinic chain (2026-07-24), used to show the shape of pricing — not a national average, and not a quote. Prices include 10% VAT: the foreign-patient cosmetic VAT refund ended on 31 December 2025.
