Liftera II
리프테라2 · also: 리프테라, sweeping HIFU
A Korean HIFU device that sweeps ultrasound energy across the skin rather than stamping it in single points. That makes it markedly more comfortable than Shurink or Ulthera and better suited to thin skin around the eyes and neck — with a correspondingly milder lift.
A short questionnaire and dose mapping — usually done the same day, right before treatment.
How it works
Focused ultrasound is delivered in a continuous sweeping motion, spreading heat rather than concentrating it at discrete coagulation points. Depth is adjustable, and two cartridge shapes exist: a line type for broad areas like cheeks and jawline, and a pen type for curved or delicate zones such as eyes, forehead and the double chin.
Focused ultrasound · acts at 1.5–4.5 mm · deepest layer: SMAS
The fibrous support sheet a facelift surgeon tightens. Only deep ultrasound reaches it non-surgically.
Depths are indicative and vary by device, cartridge, body area and individual.
Focused ultrasound
Ultrasound is focused to tiny points deep under the skin, skipping the surface entirely. Each point contracts and rebuilds over months.

A comfort-focused HIFU using continuous sweeping delivery.
Korea's value-tier HIFU leader — gentler and cheaper per shot than Ulthera, so clinics bundle more shots per session.

- ✓Comfortable enough for thin skin
- ✓Fast sessions

- •Eye and neck areas
- •Maintenance between stronger treatments
- •Low pain tolerance
Aftercare
- ✓No downtime — normal activity and makeup right away.

FAQ
Liftera or Shurink?
Shurink hits harder and is the better choice if you want real contouring from one session. Liftera is gentler, more comfortable and better on delicate zones, so it suits maintenance, thin skin and anyone nervous about HIFU pain. Both are Korean and both cost a fraction of Ulthera.
Why are the shot counts so different between cartridges?
Because they aren't the same unit of energy. The line-type cartridge covers ground quickly with stronger shots; the pen type places many small ones for precision. A clinic quoting 1,000 shots isn't necessarily giving you more treatment.
Will one session be enough?
For a subtle tightening, yes. For anything you'd call a lift, plan 2–3 sessions or choose a stronger device.
Price range by care tier
Market ranges for reference — actual quotes depend on the clinic, doctor and area.
Before you compare quotes: what this price is actually per
- Ultrasound lifting is sold in shots (lines of energy). 100 shots treats a small area; a full face is usually 300–600. Compare price ÷ shots, never the headline.
Sold per shot — but shot counts are not comparable between the two cartridge types. In one Seoul price list, 100 line-type shots and 1,000 pen-type shots cost exactly the same, because a pen-type shot delivers far less energy. Never compare a 'shots for the price' figure without asking which cartridge it refers to.
Won prices quoted above are from a dated reference price list for one Seoul clinic chain (2026-07-24), used to show the shape of pricing — not a national average, and not a quote. Prices include 10% VAT: the foreign-patient cosmetic VAT refund ended on 31 December 2025.
