FAQ
Korean or imported filler?
Korean HA fillers are MFDS-approved, widely used and cost 50–70% less. Imported brands like Juvederm and Restylane tend to last longer in structured areas — roughly 12–24 months against 6–12 — and carry brand familiarity. For a first filler in a forgiving area, Korean is reasonable value; for a nose or chin you want to hold shape, the longevity difference matters.
Why won't they use the cheap filler under my eyes?
Under-eye skin is thin and unforgiving, and it needs a soft, low-water-binding product placed precisely. Most Korean menus explicitly exclude their entry-level fillers from under-eye, lips and other special areas — that exclusion is a sign of caution, not a sales tactic.
What if I hate it?
HA filler can be dissolved with hyaluronidase within days. That reversibility is the strongest argument for choosing HA over calcium-based, polymer or permanent fillers, none of which can be undone. Ask whether the clinic stocks hyaluronidase before you're injected.
What's the serious risk?
Vascular occlusion — filler entering a blood vessel — is rare but can threaten skin or, around the nose and glabella, vision. It's an emergency treated with hyaluronidase. This is the main reason to prioritise the injector's experience over the price per cc.

- Injectables are sold per cc. One cc is a small syringe; most full-face plans need 2–8 cc, so multiply before comparing.
Per cc, on an origin ladder as steep as the toxin one. In one Seoul list a Korean HA filler was ₩90k per cc, premium Korean ₩180k, imported HA brands ₩350k–390k, and a collagen-stimulating imported filler ₩1.35M. Korean fillers are MFDS-approved and independently developed — the gap is import cost and brand, not safety. Note that most menus exclude delicate areas like under-eye and lips from the cheapest lines.
